About the Creator

Harris O'Malley has been working as a freelance illustrator since 2003 and has worked in a variety of media and formats. He's primarily self-taught, with a brief stint in the art program at Skidmore College. He has also studied computer animation in Orlando, FL.

He has worked as a storyboard artist, designed tattoos, provided illustrations for text books, editorial cartoons, spot illustration for publications, book covers, movie posters, character design, comic illustration, logo design, inking and coloring/toning and trading cards. He has also been an animator, working on Richard Linkletter's A Scanner Darkly starring Keanu Reeves and Robert Downey Jr.

He is also known as a raconteur, a noted man-about-town and occasional messiah-for hire.

Harris is the creator of the dark urban-fantasy series MIRACLES HAVE A PRICE, MASQUERADE and TWILIGHT WARS. He's also collaborated with writer Jens Altmann on the horror graphic novel BERSEKER.

He once shot a man in Reno just to watch him die.

"I like to build narratives with my art," he says. "I'm fascinated by the juxtaposition of elements of the fantastic over the mundane mixed with just enough irreverent humor to keep things interesting."

Harris currently resides in Austin, TX.
